Kaylie's Bat Mitzvah had to be postponed due to everything being shut down last year, so she was thrilled to finally get to celebrate with her family and friends. Before her event, we went down to the river for a family photo session. Grandparents were there along with her immediate family. It was a very hot day, so we had to dodge river rafters at this very popular spot under the Folsom Bridge. The party was at an event center and Mom spent hours putting together the adorable table centerpieces. The theme was Lake Tahoe and they had pine trees, wood pieces and cute candles on all the tables. The kids even got cups with smores ingredients and goodie bags. My favorite part of the evening aside from Kaylie's thoughtful speech thanking everyone for the part they played in her life, was the Horah Dance where they lifted her and her brother and danced around the room. You can see by my pictures that she was having such a fun time and her brother was terrified that he would fall. The teens also had a blast at the photo booth. All in all, it was a very fun event to photograph. Thankful to capture the joy in this family's journey!
